All About Me...She is truly walking in favor!

Stephani D. Joiner is a Learner, Leader, and Listener.  You wouldn't believe it, but she has had the opportunity to work with students over 25 years in all grades K-12. She began her teaching experience the summer before her freshman year of college at a year-round school in Chicago, Illinois. She is still as excited as the day she began. She is a native of Mississippi, a proud mother of twin boys (Adam and Jacob) and a daughter (Genesis), and an advocate of children and education. Her educational philosophy stems from the great Madam C. J. Walker- " Don't sit down and wait for opportunities. Get up and make them happen". In her class students will learn and utilize speaking, writing, reading, analyzing, presenting, and thinking skills. She loves what she does and looks forward to serving in the capacity of Learner and Leader in years to come. Her classroom is always open for visitors and parents and believes learning extends beyond the classroom walls for 20th century education.
