2022 - 2023 Before and After School Program

 

 

Welcome to the Before and After School Program 2022-23 School Year!

 

We are excited to see our returning students and welcome our new students!

GENERAL INFORMATION

The Main Street Academy's Before and After School Program is a fee-based program that provides care Monday through Friday. All TMSA students, grades K-8, are eligible to participate in this voluntary program for the current academic year. Students may join the program depending on the space available, registration is completed by the parent/guardian, all fees are paid/current, and confirmation is received by the Program Director.

 

PROGRAM DURATION AND HOURS

The program will be open during all instructional school days unless otherwise notified:

August 8, 2022 – May 26, 2023

Early Morning (Before School) Program: Monday-Friday / Receiving Hours 6:30 a.m. - 7:00 a.m.

After School Program: Monday – Friday / 3:30p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

 

REGISTRATION

Registration and enrollment will occur from July 18, 2022  to August 3, 2022. Click here to register.  All families (returning and new) must register prior to enrollment, which will be confirmed by the Program Director if there is space available. All registration and payments must be made online through www.procare.com. Credit and debit cards are acceptable payment forms. We do not accept cash, checks, or money orders.

AFTER SCHOOL SCHEDULE

We provide on-site programming with an emphasis on enrichment, homework help, and peer interaction.

 

PLEASE NOTE: After School staff do not provide tutoring, homework is not guaranteed to be fully complete or correct at the end of each program day. It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to ensure their student homework is completed and checked each day.

 

During enrichment days, students can participate in interesting and engaging activities that include cooking, art, science, and any activity that gets their creativity flowing! Throughout the year, outside partners provide activities that support their learning journey such as chess, garden, dance, and yoga. We are always looking for volunteers and partners to share their interests with our students.

Frequently Asked Questions

 

Do I get a discount if my student starts in the middle of the month? No. Monthly rates are based on the yearly operating costs of the program and cannot be prorated.

 

Can I pay less in the months with long school breaks? No. Monthly rates are based on the yearly operating costs of the program.

 

My student’s class was quarantined, can I get a refund for the missed days? No. Quarantined days are treated the same as sick days, we will not give a refund unless the entire school closes.

 

If there is an unplanned school closing, do I get a refund? Maybe. In the past, the program as provided refunds for unexpected school building closures. Only the governing board can make this decision.

 

PROGRAM FEES: All fees must be paid by a debit or credit card, we do not accept money orders, checks, or cash.
