Yuvonka Avery- Assistant Principal- Grades K-4

Ms. Avery truly has a passion for education. Her mantra is "Once a teacher, Always a teacher". She taught elementary students for ten years, then spent the next ten years serving as an instructional coach and curriculum specialist. Now, as Assistant Principal at TMSA, she is using that love for education to impact students, teachers, staff and parents. As a native Georgian, she is a proud product of Atlanta Public Schools, The University of West Georgia and Columbus State University. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family, vacationing and cheering the Atlanta Falcons to victory. Feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns.
