Track & Field Tryouts will be held on the track Feb. 12 and 13 4:15-5:15. Dress warm! Boys and Girls in grades 6th - 8th are eligible to try out.

Main Street Academy third grade teacher Chandra Graves has been nominated for the 2018-2019 national LifeChanger of the Year award.

We are excited to announce our 2019 Career Day on March 19, 2019. We are seeking a variety of professions to participate. This year’s Career Day will include two phases. For each phase we are asking participants to devote at least one hour to speak and visit with our students.

A growing body of research indicates that schools with positive school climate ratings have better test scores and higher graduation rates.  School climate refers to the quality and character of school life.  The first step to improving school climate is to measure and analyze it with a school climate survey instrument.

The Main Street Academy is launching an initiative to help our families impacted by the federal government shutdown. You may support this initiative by donating money, can goods, laundry supplies, toiletries, gift cards, in-kind services (i.e. transport students to/from school), etc..
