Over the past three weeks, Mrs. McDaniel's fourth-grade class read Charlie and the Chocolate Factory which covered literary standards. Also, the students viewed the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory movie. On March 19th the class completed Venn Diagrams comparing and contrasting the book and the movie. Soon the students will complete opinion essays to compare the book and the movie.
Mrs. McDaniels re-created some iconic scenes from the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory movie, including Wonka candy bars with five golden tickets hidden inside, lickable wallpaper, and square candies that lent to an "eat and watch" experience. Students ate the candies as they appeared in the movie.
