During the week of September 26 30, 2022, The Main Street Academy will recognize National Attendance Awareness Week - a time for individuals and organizations to learn about attendance issues, absenteeism, and the effects attendance can have on academic performance and success. School attendance is essential to academic success, but too often students, parents, and schools don’t realize how quickly absences, excused or unexcused, can add up to academic trouble.
Most exciting, the TMSA homeroom (K - 8) that achieves the highest student attendance rate during the month of September will win a pizza party! Students are encouraged to participate in National Attendance Awareness Week by wearing school spirit attire and supporting Fun(draising Friday) on Friday, September 30, 2022.
