Even If It’s Not COVID-19, Don’t Send Your Child to School If They’re Sick

August 23, 2022

Dear TMSA Parents and Guardians,

Please do not send your child to school sick. Please allow your child to recuperate at home so that they will not get their classmates sick. If your child is sick and needs to stay home please contact me via email and/or email [email protected] so the absence will be excused. The following details must be included in the email:
✔ Student's Full Name
✔ Student's FCS ID Number (Lunch Number)
✔ Parent/Guardian Name
✔ Parent/Guardian Email & Phone Number
✔ Reason for Excuse

If your child is absent from school for more than three consecutive days, a doctor's note will be required. Click here to review Fulton County Schools' Attendance Policy.

Next, if your child tests positive for COVID-19, please complete and submit TMSA's Student COVID-19 Positive Case Reporting Form

Lastly, in accordance with current CDC Guidelines and the Fulton County Schools district, TMSA is a mask-optional school. However, we strongly encourage students, teachers, staff, and visitors to wear masks on campus.

Thank you TMSA parents/guardians for helping to ensure our collective student body is happy and HEALTHY.

Sincerely,

Nurse Jackson
