Dear TMSA Scholars, Parents, Guardians, Faculty, and Staff -
Welcome to the start of the 2022 - 2023 school year! I would like to welcome our incoming kindergarten scholars, new scholars, and returning scholars, as well as their families, to The Main Street Academy (TMSA). I can’t stress enough how important it is to begin the new school year with a positive and optimistic outlook. Our positive words become positive thoughts that lead to positive actions and outcomes. Everything we do at TMSA is to support our scholars to excel academically.
TMSA provides a safe learning environment and a positive school culture that centers on The Leader in Me Seven Habits:

Academically, TMSA is striving to become a world-class, a high-performing scholastic institution encompassing a 21st-century S.T.E.A.M. curriculum inclusive of project-based learning to drive learning. The goals from TMSA’s 2021 – 2022 Schoolwide Improvement Plan will continue into the new school year:
Goals 1 – 3: Focus on improving student achievement in the content areas of Reading, Language Arts and Math
Foster literacy independence through the implementation of our core reading program and literacy-based centers during the ELA block of instructional time.
Focus on increasing student achievement through the implementation of the best mathematical practices to guide classroom instruction
Goal 4: Coordinate wellness activities to support student relationships and foster positive learning outcomes
Goals 5 – 6: Communication and Innovation
We also want to establish processes that are customer service-orientated practices and innovative practices that support world-class learning opportunities.
