- Understanding place value tens and ones
- Using counters, cubes, or other manipulatives to fill in a ten frame and or double frame
- Measuring, students will be able to use rulers, magnifiers, and balance scales to give more information about things. Students will be able to use non-standard tools to measure objects.
Science
- Plants
- different types of plants and parts of a plant
- Students will learn and understand the plant life cycle
- Students will learn and participate in an experiment on the life cycle
Social Studies
- Chronology and time
- Past, present, long ago, today, and how things change
Black History
- Students will learn about the different iconic African American figures
