TMSA 4th Quarter Re-Opening Update and Next Steps

April 15, 2021

Greetings TMSA Parents and Guardians,

Welcome back from Spring Break!

The Main Street Academy’s Governing Board and Fulton County Schools approved TMSA’s 4th Quarter Re-opening Plan that forges the path for TMSA families who opted for their students to return to campus for  face-to-face instruction the remainder of 4th quarter 2021 to officially begin on Monday, April 19, 2021.

TMSA families who opted to receive face-to-face instruction by way of the 4th Quarter 2021 Re-Opening Survey Questionnaire, will receive an email directly from Principal Parker by the end of this week that will highlight important information and details needed in preparation for face-to-face instruction beginning Monday, April 19th.

Virtual instruction will continue as is for TMSA families with students who opted to continue with virtual instruction the remainder of 4th quarter 2021.

Fourth quarter face to face instruction is only available to TMSA households who initially opted into this option last March by way of the the 4th Quarter 2021 Re-Opening Survey Questionnaire. If you opted for your student(s) to receive face to face instruction beginning April 19th but changed your decision and would like to remain virtual, please email Principal Parker immediately. A wait list may become available for virtual students who would like to switch to face-to-face instruction during 4th quarter.

Also, if you haven't already done so, please read and review important details about Georgia Milestones testing that begins on April 27th.

We look forward to welcoming students back to campus for face-to-face instruction next Monday.

Thank you,

The Main Street Academy’s Governing Board and Administrative Team
