TMSA scholars in grades K - 3 are creating cultural and symbolic connections with language. Students are building vocabulary relating to los colores, los números, el alfabeto, los días de la semana, y los saludos.
TMSA 4th grade students are creating their own “árbol familiar”; a presentation displaying los miembros de la familia. Students will be able to create cross-cultural connections between their home and traditional families in Spanish speaking countries.
TMSA scholars in grades 5 - 7 are building their communication skills in Spanish. Students are currently expressing characteristics of themselves, where they are from, how old they are, and what activities they like to do. They are also engaging in conversation with peers and inquiring about others in Spanish (¿Te gusta? ¿Qué te gusta hacer?).
