Mrs. Thomas' Biography
Mrs. Erica Thomas is a 26-year educator dedicated to the success of every student who walks through her classroom or school doors. Her journey in education began with the impact of extraordinary teachers who inspired her own calling to teach. She received her Bachelor’s degree at Florida A&M University and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Curriculum & Instruction at Thomas University.
Over the course of her career, Mrs. Thomas has taught every elementary grade level and has stepped into instructional leadership, guiding teachers and shaping practices that support strong and supportive learning environments. At the heart of her work is a simple but powerful belief: Together, Everyone Achieves Mastery. She sees education as a team effort, where students, families, and educators work in partnership to help every child reach their full potential.
Outside of school, Mrs. Thomas is a devoted wife and proud mother of three daughters. Her hobbies include dining out, diamond painting, and enjoying an action-packed TV series. As the fifth-grade ELA teacher, she brings the same heart, patience, and commitment she offers her own family into her work with the Main Street Academy community every day.
