Ms. Hernandez Biography
I was born and raised in East Point, Georgia. In 2016, I moved to Ohio to pursue my Bachelor’s degree in Global Commerce and Spanish at Denison University. After graduating, I worked as a licensed insurance agent for three years before welcoming my daughter, Camila. Following my time in the insurance industry, I transitioned into education and have spent the last three years teaching in Gwinnett County. In 2025, I graduated with my Master of Arts in Teaching in Elementary Education from Mercer University. I am excited to continue growing as an educator and to teach the brilliant young minds at The Main Street Academy.
I believe all children can succeed when they feel valued, challenged, and intentionally encouraged. As a bilingual educator fluent in English and Spanish, I enjoy building strong relationships with students and families. It is my goal to foster a lifelong love of learning, curiosity, and confidence in my students, both inside and outside the classroom.
