Ms. Davis' Biography
I’m Veronica Davis, a proud Atlanta native and third year educator with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio, and a master’s degree in teaching from Relay Graduate School of Education. As a proud new mom, I strive to create a classroom where scholars are empowered to think critically, solve problems independently, and become autonomous learners. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy visiting museums, watching documentaries and docuseries, especially those on Animal Planet and National Geographic, and exploring all things aquatic. My favorite animal is the octopus because it represents intelligence, curiosity, and adaptability.
I live by the quote, “Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire,” because I believe my greatest responsibility is to inspire curiosity and a lifelong love of learning.
