Ms. Tallington's Biography

Shiyon Tallington was born in Atlanta, Georgia, and is a senior at Western Governors University, where she is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. She is passionate about creating a positive, supportive classroom where every child feels encouraged to learn and grow. Shiyon believes that every student can succeed when they are met with patience, kindness, and meaningful opportunities to learn. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys cooking, reading, and spending quality time with her 1-year old daughter Khaleesi.
