Nurse Jackson has been a dedicated nurse since 2014, bringing a wealth of experience from various healthcare settings, including five years in pediatrics. Her diverse background spans public health nursing, obstetrics, and behavioral health, making her well-equipped to care for the students and staff at MAIN STREET ACADEMY.

Nurse Jackson earned her associate degree in nursing from Jersey College School of Nursing and later pursued her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Capella University. With strong roots in Jamaica, WI, and having grown up in Queens, NY, she moved to Georgia November of 2022 and has found a welcoming home at TMSA.

“I love working at TMSA. The culture of inclusivity and the genuine care that educators and staff have for one another and for the well-being of our scholars is truly special. Coming from a tough city, TMSA has been a soft place to land. I’m passionate about my role here, working with students and their families to keep them safe and healthy.”

Outside of her role at TMSA, Nurse Jackson channels her long-standing passion for makeup artistry as a freelance makeup artist, a craft she has nurtured for many years. She later refined her skills and obtained her cosmetology certificate at EMPIRE Beauty School and gained her cosmetology licensure in New York. In her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, engaging in outdoor activities, baking, crafting and traveling back home to Jamaica.
