Jessica Monti - Health and Physical Education Teacher

Jessica Monti is entering her 17th year of teaching.  This will be her 9th year teaching Health and Physical Education at The Main Street Academy.  Before teaching at The Main Street Academy, she taught in Florida and also served as an academic advisor in the athletic department at Mercer University.   She graduated from Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania where she majored in Neuroscience and Psychology.  She graduated from Mercer University with her master’s degree in Educational Leadership in 2013.

During a typical day in physical education Coach Monti provides instruction to the children on the importance of living a healthy lifestyle.  She integrates activities that promote physical well-being, teamwork, and sportsmanship with the students. She is a caring and compassionate person who loves teaching all of the students!!  Each student has the ability to learn and should set high expectations because they are the future leaders!!!

Coach Monti is from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and has twin brothers. She loves dogs and playing video games. She also loves traveling to visit her nieces Madison and Juliana in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where she attends Steeler games. Here we go Steelers, here we go!!
