Vision To Learn Coming to TMSA on December 14 (Grades K-5 only)

The Main Street Academy (TMSA) is excited to welcome Vision To Learn on Monday, December 14, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. to provide free vision screenings for students in kindergarten through fifth grade.

Vision To Learn is a nonprofit organization that partners with school districts to provide free vision screenings, eye exams, and eyeglasses to students attending Title I schools. Through this partnership, eligible TMSA students can receive essential vision care at no cost to their families.

During the visit, students in kindergarten through fifth grade will receive initial vision screenings to identify those who may need additional evaluation. Students identified as needing glasses will receive follow-up care through Vision To Learn. The organization will return to campus at a later date to fit those students for their glasses, which they will receive free of charge.

Important Information for Parents and Guardians

No action is required unless you do not want your child to participate. Parents and guardians who wish to opt their child out of the vision screening must complete and return the opt-out form to the school before the scheduled screening date. If you want your child to participate, you do not need to do anything.

All screenings, follow-up services, and eyeglasses provided through Vision To Learn are offered at no cost to families.

TMSA is pleased to continue this partnership to help ensure students have access to essential vision care that supports their health, learning, and academic success.
