TMSA Recognizes World Day of Bullying Prevention

The Main Street Academy (TMSA) joined schools and communities across the country on October 5 in recognizing World Day of Bullying Prevention, an annual observance that raises awareness about bullying and encourages communities to stand together against it.

To show their support, TMSA students and staff wore blue throughout the school day as part of the #BlueUp movement. The school community also came together to create an anti-bullying banner, with students and staff designing and signing the banner as a shared commitment to promoting kindness, respect, and inclusion.

The activities provided an opportunity for students to reflect on the importance of treating others with compassion and speaking up when they see someone being mistreated. The signed banner serves as a visual reminder that everyone has a role to play in creating a safe and welcoming school environment.

World Day of Bullying Prevention is more than a single day of recognition. At TMSA, the message of kindness, respect, and standing up for others is one the school community can carry throughout the year.

TMSA extends a special thank you to the Mrs. Lee and the Anti-Bullying Committee for helping organize the day’s activities, as well as to all of the students and staff who helped make the day meaningful through their participation and support.

Together, TMSA is choosing kindness and taking a stand against bullying.
