The Main Street Academy (TMSA) will celebrate Red Ribbon Week October 26–30, 2026, with a fun and engaging week of themed activities designed to promote healthy choices, positive decision-making, and a drug-free future.
This year’s theme, “It’s a Different World—Be Drug Free!”, encourages students to celebrate their individuality while recognizing the importance of making choices that support their goals, dreams, and futures.
Please note: Students must wear their uniform pants every day.
Red Ribbon Week Spirit Days
Monday, October 26 – 90s Day
Welcome to a different world with a throwback to the 1990s! Students can show off their best ’90s-inspired looks with bright colors, accessories, scrunchies, and more.
Tuesday, October 27 – Hillman Dreams: College & HBCU Day
Students will represent their favorite college, university, or HBCU by wearing school colors, shirts, sweatshirts, hats, or other college-themed gear. The day encourages students to think about their futures and the possibilities ahead.
Wednesday, October 28 – Whitley, Dwayne & Crew Day: Favorite TV Character Day
Students can dress as their favorite television character and celebrate the positive messages and memorable characters that inspire them. Students are encouraged to be themselves, be confident, and be drug free.
Thursday, October 29 – Different World, Same Team: Twin & Squad Day
Students can team up with friends for coordinated outfits, matching colors, jerseys, or creative group looks. The day highlights friendship, teamwork, and the importance of making positive choices together.
Friday, October 30 – Step Into a Different World: Book Character Showcase Day
Students will bring their favorite books to life by dressing as beloved book characters. Students can participate in the TMSA Character Showcase while celebrating the power of reading, imagination, and positive choices.
Throughout the week, TMSA will reinforce the message that different choices can lead to brighter futures. Red Ribbon Week provides an opportunity for students to have fun, express themselves, build connections with their peers, and learn that they have the power to make choices that support their future goals.
