The Main Street Academy (TMSA) is proud to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15 through October 15, 2026, recognizing the rich cultures, histories, traditions, and contributions of Hispanic and Latino communities.
This month-long celebration provides an opportunity for TMSA scholars to expand their understanding of the diverse people and communities that have helped shape our world. Through engaging learning experiences, scholars will explore Hispanic and Latino history, culture, language, music, food, traditions, influential leaders, and community contributions.
As part of the celebration, TMSA will feature a Friday Focus series throughout September and October. Each Friday, K–4 scholars will participate in a new learning activity designed to introduce them to different aspects of Hispanic heritage and encourage curiosity, appreciation, and cultural understanding.
Hispanic Heritage Month is also an opportunity for our school community to recognize the individuals who inspire others, make meaningful contributions, and help create a brighter future. By learning about different cultures and perspectives, our scholars are encouraged to celebrate diversity and recognize the ways our differences make our communities stronger.
