On September 8, 2026, The Main Street Academy (TMSA) welcomed parents, guardians, and families to our Curriculum & Annual Title I Family Night, an evening focused on learning, connection, and family engagement.
Families had the opportunity to gain valuable insight into the academic experiences and opportunities available to TMSA scholars throughout the school year. Teachers shared information about curriculum and instruction, classroom expectations, Powerful Words vocabulary initiatives, Project-Based Learning (PBL), and student syllabi, helping families better understand what students will learn and how they can support their success at home.
The evening also gave families an opportunity to explore curriculum resources and view SOAR student artifacts and projects, providing a firsthand look at the learning taking place across the school. Families learned more about this year’s Project-Based Learning experiences and ways they can partner with teachers to reinforce learning beyond the classroom.
As part of the evening, TMSA hosted its Annual Title I Meeting, where families received important information about Title I services, resources, requirements, and opportunities for meaningful family engagement.
The event brought families and educators together around a shared goal: supporting student achievement and creating a strong partnership between home and school.
And to end the evening on a sweet note, families were able to enjoy Dippin’ Dots!
A special thank you to all of the TMSA staff, teachers, administrators, and team members who helped plan, prepare, organize, and bring this event to life. Your time, dedication, and teamwork helped create a meaningful experience for our families. We also appreciate all of the parents and guardians who joined us and continue to partner with TMSA in supporting our scholars.
Together, we are making this a powerful year of learning, growth, and success!
