SOARing High Pep Rally Recap

At The Main Street Academy (TMSA), our SOARing High Pep Rally was more than a celebration of school spirit—it was a celebration of student leadership, character, and community. The event highlighted three important initiatives shaping the student experience at TMSA: the new Brains Behind The Main student leadership program, Leader in Me, and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS).

The SOARing High Pep Rally gave students an opportunity to step into leadership roles, showcase their creativity, and help create an unforgettable experience for the TMSA community. The event also reflected the core principles of Leader in Me, which empowers students to recognize their strengths, take ownership, and become leaders in their classrooms and school community. From taking initiative to working collaboratively, students demonstrated that leadership is something they can practice every day. PBIS was also front and center, reinforcing the importance of positive behavior, school pride, and creating a supportive environment where students can thrive. The energy and enthusiasm throughout the pep rally showed what is possible when students are encouraged to make positive choices and contribute to their school community.

The success of the SOARing High Pep Rally was truly a team effort. A special thank you goes to all of the students, staff, school leaders, and everyone who helped organize, coordinate, and bring the event together. Your time, creativity, and dedication helped create an experience our students will remember.

At The Main Street Academy, we believe every student has the potential to lead. Through Brains Behind The Main, Leader in Me, and PBIS, students are learning that leadership is not simply about having a title—it’s about taking initiative, making positive choices, supporting others, and making a difference.
