The Main Street Academy (TMSA) has been officially designated a No Place for Hate School for the 2025–2026 academic year, marking a significant achievement in the school’s ongoing commitment to fostering an inclusive, respectful, and supportive learning environment.
The designation, awarded through a nationally recognized initiative led by the Anti-Defamation League, recognizes schools that actively implement programs promoting equity, kindness, and anti-bias education. Schools earning this distinction demonstrate a clear commitment to creating a culture where all students feel seen, valued, and safe.
At the heart of this accomplishment is Priscilla Lee, TMSA's Social Worker, whose leadership and dedication were instrumental in guiding the initiative. Through intentional programming, student engagement activities, and staff collaboration, Lee helped ensure that the principles of respect and belonging were embedded throughout the school community.
Throughout the year, The Main Street Academy has implemented a series of student-led and schoolwide initiatives focused on promoting kindness, addressing bias, and encouraging open dialogue. These efforts not only met the criteria for the designation but also strengthened relationships across the school community.
As a No Place for Hate School, The Main Street Academy joins a network of schools nationwide committed to standing against hate and bias while promoting unity and respect. The designation reinforces the school’s mission to educate the whole child—academically, socially, and emotionally—within a nurturing and inclusive environment.
With this recognition, The Main Street Academy continues to set a standard for cultivating a school community where every individual belongs.
