TMSA Celebrates Georgia Agriculture Week with Kendall Rae Johnson

The Main Street Academy (TMSA) is proud to celebrate Georgia Agriculture Week. This special week highlights the important role agriculture plays in our daily lives and communities. We are especially excited to partner with Kendall Rae Johnson, the youngest certified farmer in the United States, and share a special video clip featuring her journey and impact.

Throughout the week, students will participate in engaging, hands-on learning experiences designed to bring agriculture to life. From caring for animals to exploring how food is grown and harvested, students will gain a deeper understanding of farming, food production, forestry, and environmental stewardship. These interactive activities help students make meaningful connections between agriculture and the world around them.

Georgia’s agriculture industry plays a critical role in feeding, clothing, and supporting millions of people, and this week provides an opportunity for students to appreciate the farmers, producers, and agricultural leaders who make it all possible.

Through Georgia Agriculture Week, TMSA continues to cultivate curiosity, awareness, and appreciation for one of the most essential industries in our state and beyond.
