The Main Street Academy (TMSA) is encouraging families to take part in an important video presentation Busy But Balanced, designed to help students thrive both academically and through extracurricular involvement.
The presentation highlights the value of participating in extracurricular activities—whether in athletics, arts, clubs, or community programs—while also emphasizing the importance of maintaining a healthy balance so that academic performance is not negatively impacted. Students benefit greatly from enrichment opportunities beyond the classroom, but thoughtful time management and prioritizing learning remain key to long-term success.
Families are invited to spend just a few minutes watching the video and completing a brief set of follow-up questions.
Viewing Incentives:
- The students of parents who view the presentation will earn 30 PBIS points.
- Families who complete the presentation will be entered into a raffle to win one of four $25 gift cards.
This initiative reflects TMSA's ongoing commitment to supporting the whole child—encouraging involvement, promoting balance, and strengthening the partnership between school and home.
Families are encouraged to participate and take advantage of this opportunity to support their child’s growth both inside and outside the classroom.
