The Main Street Academy (TMSA) K–2nd grade scholars recently experienced a heartwarming and engaging event as we welcomed special guests for our Lit, Love, and Read Aloud celebration. Ms. Johnson and Dr. Sparks from Georgia Metro Resa visited our school to share the joy of reading, bringing stories to life in a way that truly captured the hearts and minds of our young learners.
Throughout the event, scholars were fully engaged as they listened attentively, laughed at the fun moments in the stories, and eagerly participated in discussions. The read-aloud sessions not only strengthened literacy skills but also reinforced the importance of developing a lifelong love for reading. The excitement in the room was evident as students connected with the characters, made predictions, and shared their thoughts with enthusiasm.
Our teachers also expressed how meaningful the experience was for their classrooms. Events like Lit, Love, and Read-Aloud help create a culture where literacy is celebrated and reading is seen as both powerful and enjoyable.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Ms. Johnson and Dr. Sparks for a job well done. Your time, energy, and passion for literacy made a lasting impact on our scholars. We are truly grateful for your support in helping us inspire a love for reading in our school community.
