Random Acts of Kindness Week

The Main Street Academy (TMSA) dedicated time to uplifting one of the school’s most important values — kindness. During Random Acts of Kindness Week, students and staff alike were encouraged to intentionally create moments of positivity throughout the campus.

Across classrooms and hallways, the atmosphere reflected encouragement, respect, and care for one another. The week’s Be The Voice Random Act of Kindness Challenge for 4th and 5th grade students began with M. Fuqua as the first participant.

Faculty and staff were also celebrated for the dedication they show every day. Throughout the week they were surprised with popcorn, cake, snacks, and other treats — small gestures meant to recognize the big impact they make in students’ lives. The shared moments gave team members time to connect, laugh, and feel appreciated.

Random Acts of Kindness Week served as more than just a themed celebration; it highlighted what makes TMSA special. By choosing kindness in everyday interactions, the school community continues to strengthen a culture where people feel supported, valued, and proud to belong.

Thank you to Mrs. Smallwood, Mrs. Lee, Ms. Douglas and all those who coordinated this caring initiative!
