On December 5, The Main Street Academy (TMSA) hosted its Schoolwide Enrichment Model (SEM) Showcase. SEM allows students to explore unique passions through real-world projects. Among the enrichment clusters was the 2D Animation SEM led by Mr. Ealey.
Guided by Mr. Ealey, TMSA scholars spent the semester diving into the artistic and technical world of animation. "The 2D Animation SEM was designed to introduce students to the fundamentals and history of animation while guiding them through their first steps into the field. Each week, we focused on a core aspect of the animation process including design, story development, storyboarding, and animation. I greatly enjoyed the creativity and enthusiasm the students demonstrated throughout the semester. I hope they continue practicing their animation skills and pursuing their passion for the art form " said Mr. Ealey.
