SEM Early Entrepreneurs Enjoy a Sweet Lesson in Business Success

Students in the Early Entrepreneurs Schoolwide Enrichment Model (SEM) cluster were in for a sweet surprise as they explored what it takes to build a successful business. Scholars had the opportunity to meet Henry Adeleye, co-owner of Kupcakerie Bakery, who visited campus to share insights from his entrepreneurial journey.

During the session, Mr. Adeleye spoke about the fundamentals of running a business, including creativity, customer service, perseverance, and passion. Students then presented their own dream business ideas, delivering thoughtful and imaginative pitches that impressed their special guest.

The visit provided young entrepreneurs with a real-world look into business ownership — along with a delicious dose of inspiration.
