TMSA Kicks Off Red Ribbon Week Celebration

The Main Street Academy (TMSA) is excited to celebrate Red Ribbon Week from October 27–31, 2025, with a variety of fun and educational activities that promote healthy, drug-free lifestyles.

Red Ribbon Week is a national campaign held annually from October 23–31 to raise awareness about the importance of living drug-free. The observance honors DEA agent Enrique “Kiki” Camarena, whose dedication and sacrifice inspired the nation’s commitment to drug prevention and education. Across the country, schools and communities join together with themed events and activities that encourage students to make positive, healthy choices.

At TMSA, the week’s festivities will include themed dress-up days and the highly anticipated Red Ribbon Parade on Friday.

Please Note:

  • No masks of any type are allowed.
  • No inflatable or blow-up costumes are allowed.
  • Students must wear uniform pants each day, including Friday.
  • For Character Day, students must wear uniform pants and bring the accompanying book to participate in the parade.
  • Students who do not bring their book will cheer on their classmates from the sidelines.

And don’t forget—tomorrow, Tuesday, October 28, is 60s/70s Decade Dress-Up Day! Students are encouraged to show their school spirit by dressing in retro style while keeping all parade and dress code guidelines in mind.

Today was College Prep Day, in which students and staff were asked to wear their favorite college gear! Be sure to check out the below photos from College Prep Day!
