The Main Street Academy’s (TMSA) Jet Fuel Café continues to delight students and staff with its flavorful and nutritious meals, proving that school lunch can be both delicious and wholesome. This month’s menu featured an impressive variety of dishes that highlight the café’s commitment to quality, creativity, and cultural diversity.
Among the standout offerings were lemon herb potato wedges and smoked chicken drumsticks served with jollof rice, a flavorful West African–inspired dish that added an exciting global twist during National School Lunch Week, October 6-10. Fresh sides including okra and watermelon rounded out the meals, while mango peach applesauce offered a sweet, refreshing finish. Each balanced meal was complemented with 1% milk to ensure proper nutrition for growing students.
The Jet Fuel Café team takes pride in crafting meals that not only meet nutritional standards but also spark enthusiasm for healthy eating. Their thoughtful menu planning reflects TMSA'S mission to fuel students’ minds and bodies for learning success.
With every plate served, the School Nutrition team demonstrates that nutritious food can be full of flavor, culture, and creativity — keeping The Main Street Academy community energized and ready to soar.
