TMSA Recognizes Anti-Bullying Day with “It’s Okay to Be Different” Celebration

On Tuesday, October 8th, The Main Street Academy (TMSA) recognized Anti-Bullying Day with a schoolwide celebration centered on the theme “It’s Okay to Be Different.” Students and staff showed their support by wearing mismatched socks as a symbol of acceptance and inclusion.

As part of the day’s activities, Officer Muse led an anti-bullying presentation during specials for each grade level, reinforcing the importance of kindness, respect, and standing up against bullying.

At the end of the school day, students joined together to sign a pledge committing to support a “No Place for Hate” school. In addition, students helped create No Place for Hate banners that are now displayed throughout the hallways.

This event highlighted TMSA’s ongoing commitment to improving school climate through anti-bias education, bullying prevention, and celebrating the value of every student.
