TMSA to Celebrate Anti-Bullying Day with ‘It’s Okay to Be Different’ Activities

On Tuesday, October 8th, The Main Street Academy (TMSA) will recognize Anti-Bullying Day with a schoolwide celebration centered on the theme “It’s Okay to Be Different.” Students and staff are encouraged to show their support by wearing mismatched socks as a symbol of acceptance and inclusion.

As part of the day’s activities, Officer Muse will lead an anti-bullying presentation during specials for each grade level, reinforcing the importance of kindness, respect, and standing up against bullying.

At the end of the school day, students will join together to sign a pledge committing to support a 'No Place for Hate School'. In addition, students will contribute to creating No Place for Hate banners that will be displayed throughout the hallways beginning October 8th.

This event highlights TMSA’s ongoing commitment to improving school climate through anti-bias education, bullying prevention, and celebrating the value of every student.
