Happy Hispanic Heritage Month!

The Main Street Academy (TMSA) is proud to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15 to October 15. This special month honors the culture, contributions, and traditions of Hispanic Americans.

At TMSA, we value the diversity that makes our school family strong. Hispanic Heritage Month is a reminder of the importance of learning from one another, embracing different perspectives, and celebrating the histories that shape who we are.

Throughout this month, TMSA scholars will enjoy activities that highlight Hispanic heritage in fun and meaningful ways, including:

  • Authentic Lunch: Students will enjoy a special Hispanic-themed meal prepared by our cafeteria staff on September 23 and October 7, 2025.
  • Media Center Feature: Scholars can watch Hispanic educational cartoons via PBS Kids.
  • Morning Announcements: Each Friday, students will learn about influential Hispanic figures.

These celebrations encourage our school family to reflect, explore, and embrace the vibrant cultures that make up our community. From language and art to food, music, and history, Hispanic heritage inspires us all to learn, grow, and appreciate the beauty of diversity.
