Procedure for Student Arrival After 7:45 AM
Beginning Monday, August 11, 2025
The Main Street Academy’s morning arrival procedures for students arriving after the designated start time of 7:45 AM:
Gate Closure
- The gate will TEMPORARILY close at 7:45 AM. The gate will then re-open after the vehicles in the carline have exited.
Gate Reopen (after the temporary closure)
If your student arrives after the gate has closed, please follow the steps below once the gate reopens:
Late Arrival Procedure
- Park your vehicle in the designated visitor parking area.
- Escort your student to the front office.
Sign your student in on the tardy sheet. - After sign-in, your student will be allowed to enter the building and go to class.
Tardy Policy
- Students arriving after 7:45 AM will be marked tardy. (refer to the TMSA Student and Families Handbook (page 21) for full details on the tardy policy and attendance expectations)
