The Main Street Academy (TMSA) celebrated Teacher Appreciation Week with a series of events and activities designed to honor the dedication and hard work of its educators. The week served as a thoughtful and festive acknowledgment of the impact teachers make each day.
Staff were treated to a variety of themed experiences throughout the week, including energizing pedometers, a hydration station with cups, a lemonade bar, and a snack bar. Additional highlights included a nacho bar, popcorn treats, two hearty breakfasts, and an ice cream treat to close out the celebration.
On “Two-Step Tuesday,” staff participated in a fun step-tracking challenge using their pedometers. Ms. Hatchett was recognized for logging the most steps, showing off her energy and commitment to wellness during the week’s festivities.
To add some extra fun to Teacher Appreciation week, TMSA staff nominated coworkers for superlatives!
The success of Teacher Appreciation Week was made possible through the collaborative efforts of many. TMSA extends its gratitude to our Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO), Governing Board, PBIS Team and Nutrition Services, the Gibbs Insurance Agency, Dr. Owes and the Executive Leadership Team, as well as all those whose support helped with bringing the week’s events to life.
This celebration reflected TMSA’s commitment to fostering a culture of appreciation and recognizing the invaluable role teachers play in shaping the school community.
