TMSA Observes Mental Health Awareness Month

At The Main Street Academy, we believe that mental health is just as important as physical health. In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month, we are taking time to raise awareness, share resources, and foster open, supportive conversations within our school community.

This year’s message, “In Every Story, There’s Strength,” reminds us that mental health challenges affect many people—and that every experience shared can help break stigma and bring hope to others. In conjunction with our awareness campaign, we are also highlighting the importance of suicide prevention and making sure students and families know that help is always available.

According to the CDC and the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), nearly 46,000 lives were lost to suicide in 2020.
