Students in The Main Street Academy’s Schoolwide Enrichment Model (SEM) program, Golf Club recently enjoyed a hands-on learning experience at the College Park Golf Course, where they explored the basics of swinging and aiming, while also gaining exposure to broader life skills such as patience, focus, and perseverance. The trip offered students a fun and engaging way to apply what they’ve learned in the classroom to a new environment.
While the visit was purely educational for students, TMSA is also preparing to host its 1st Annual Golf Tournament on Saturday, April 26 at Browns Mill Golf Course. The event will help raise funds in support of TMSA programs, including those that create enrichment opportunities like this one.
The SEM program at TMSA continues to provide students with meaningful, real-world experiences that support creativity, critical thinking, and a lifelong love of learning.
