Requesting TMSA Charter Renewal Petition Letters from Parents and Guardians

Intentional Excellence, Centered in Community

Greetings TMSA Parents and Guardians,

The Main Street Academy (TMSA) began with a vision from a small group of residents/parents from the cities of College Park, East Point, and Hapeville who wanted to bring a high-quality educational option to South Fulton. Our school's doors opened 14 years ago, on August  23, 2010, to approximately 600 students in grades K - 5. Today, TMSA  is Fulton County School (FCS)  District's largest K - 8 charter school, serving over 800 students!

TMSA, a longstanding FCS charter school, obtained our third consecutive five-year re-charter in 2019. Currently, during the 2024 - 2025 school year, TMSA is petitioning our fourth consecutive five-year recharter with FCS.

Your valuable support, as TMSA parents and guardians, is very important during the recharter process. First, if you haven't already done so, please complete the TMSA Charter Renewal Survey by August 23rd. Next, please take a moment to provide  TMSA family letters supporting TMSA's charter renewal petition by August 23, 2024.

Which TMSA family households should submit a letter? All TMSA family households with scholars in grades K - 8 should submit a letter:

  • New households and longstanding households
  • Households with one TMSA scholar and households with multiple TMSA scholars (present and past)
How do I submit my household's letter?
  • Conveniently initiate, complete and submit your letter electronically by clicking here on or by August 23, 2024
  • The letter can be short or very detailed (it's your preference)
