The Main Street Academy's third grade is well on its way with its second-semester PBL (Project Based Learning). Students kicked off their PBL with an understanding area. Next, they applied what they learned by building a model Tiny House. Students also began a new science unit that centers on producing heat and will aid them with their Tiny House PBL.
Congratulations to 3rd grader, Demarius Buffinton! Demarius successfully completed the third-grade fluency by adding, subtracting and multiplying in 6 seconds or less. Way to go Demarius!!!
Third-grade parents, please assist your children with their multiplication facts by drilling them at home. Have your scholar set goals. Set a time and see how many facts he/she can answer within one minute. Have fun!
