Recently, TMSA's 4th graders enjoyed their onsite field trip with the Atlanta Botanical Garden. The garden came inside the classroom! The 4th graders studied carnivorous plants as producers and consumers:

Carnivorous Plants - Producers or Consumers
In most food chains, animals eat plants; not the other way around. Students discover the fascinating world of carnivorous plants by examining live specimens and decide what role these meat eaters play in their communities.
Additionally, TMSA's 4th graders are working on their PBL (Project Based Learning) that's focused on the American Revolution and mastering their multiplication facts as they prepare to take over the IXL leaderboard!
