Here at The Main Street Academy we strive for excellence. In Technology with Ms.Boddie your Middle School scholars have begun expanding their horizons and started doing research on careers they want to pursue. What better way to get your scholars prepared for the next level? They have started creating their professional resumes. This will introduce to the students how to design, write, and format a professional document that stands out using Google Docs. Students will learn the skills of digital collaboration, document formatting and effective communication.
That's not all... also here in the Tech world, we have been learning about our computer parts. The computer part we have been focusing on this week is the Keyboard. The little scholars are learning the alphabet, numbers, symbols, and function keys on their laptops. This knowledge will shape the students to type like a PRO. Take some time to ask your littles a question or two. They won't disappoint.
