TMSA COVID Protocols the Week of February 14 - 18, 2022

As district COVID-19 cases are decreasing, TMSA will follow the protocols listed below for the week of February 14 - 18, 2022: 
  • NEWEffective immediately MAKO Medical will offer onsite COVID-19 (PCR) testing at TMSA 3 times a week (excluding breaks and holidays) on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 7:45 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. TMSA students (including their immediate families), teachers and staff may test for COVID-19 (PCR) onsite at TMSA on Monday, February 14, 2022, Wednesday, February 16, 2022 and Thursday, February 17, 2022  from 7:45 a.m  until 10:00 a.m
  • NEW: Effective January 28, 2022 TMSA students and staff are required to report COVID-19 primary exposure and confirmed positive COVID-19 results immediately to the school by completing newly revised forms conveniently located and available on tmsa.org:
  • IMPORTANT REMINDER: Mask wear is strongly encouraged for all students, teachers, staff, and visitors on campus. TMSA parents and guardians please provide your students with extra masks to wear at school as the school's inventory decreasing 
  • Students must not come to school sick. Teachers will gladly work with students to ensure they receive their assignments, etc.
  • If four or more reported COVID-19 cases per class are officially reported to Nurse Jackson, the class will go into quarantine for 5 days.
  • ATHLETIC UPDATE: In and out-of-season athletic and performing arts practices and competitions will continue with participant screening and indoor capacity limitations increased to 50% (Inclusive of the home and opposing teams, cheerleaders, and immediate family members. Maximum of 3 spectators per TMSA athlete and cheerleader. No additional spectators). Concessions will not be sold at athletic events hosted at TMSA and not outside food as eating is restricted due to the pandemic. Basketball players are advised to contact Coach Roberts for their onsite COVID-19 testing schedule.
