2021 - 2022 PTO Officers

 

Congratulations to The Main Street Academy's newly elected 2021 - 2022 Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) officers! 

 

Ms. Tequila Douglas, PTO President

Occupation: Small Business Owner

TMSA Student: Rising 8th grader

TMSA Volunteerism and Service: Ms. Douglas is a long-standing TMSA volunteer (since her daughter began her matriculation at TMSA in the 2nd grade). Additionally, Ms. Douglas has previously serviced as TMSA’s PTO secretary and vice-president (twice).

  

Mrs. Quinae Jackson, PTO Vice President

Occupation: Brand Ambassador for an educational technology company. Tenth year in education.

TMSA Student: Rising kindergartener

Passionate Pursuits and Vision:
 I am passionate about sharing ways for teachers to maximize instructional technology and facilitate learning environments that promote discourse, and collaboration. As the Vice-President of the PTO I am thinking win-win and ready to work with parents, teachers and students at TMSA. I look forward to supporting the school in efforts to maximize each educational experience and being a proactive participant in providing, gathering and soliciting resources that will amplify learning for all of our scholars. Finally, I know that by beginning with the end in mind we proudly display the image of TMSA.

 

Dr. Miranda Dozier, PTO Secretary

Occupation: A school educator for 23 years, currently teaching first grade

TMSA Student: Rising 5th Grader

 

Mrs. Laura Calloway, PTO Treasurer

Occupation: Small Business Owner

TMSA Student: Rising 8th Grader

TMSA Volunteerism and Service: Mrs. Calloway is the mother of two sons who have both matriculated through the Main Street Academy. This is the 12th year at The Main Street Academy for the Calloway family. Mrs. Calloway has served as a room parent each year her sons attended school at TMSA. The 2021 – 2022 school year will also serve as Mrs. Calloway’s sixth term on the TMSA PTO.
