Overview of Milestones Assessments By Student Classification
Students Receiving Virtual Instruction and Coming on Campus for Milestones Assessments
- Ensure students bring their TMSA issued device to school the first day of testing (testing schedule) if it wasn’t previously dropped off before testing. Click here to view the device drop off schedule.
- Students must arrive to school by 8:00 a.m. each day of testing during AM car line. Temperature checks will be administered to students during the car line. Parents/guardians are also required to take temperature check at home prior to arriving to campus. Students with temperatures cannot enter the building for testing.
- Students must be picked up from school at 10:45 a.m. each day of testing. Due to COVID regulations, safety measures, parents/guardians must be on time for pick-up. Parents/guardians will be contacted if testing ends sooner.
- Markers will be placed on the floors throughout campus (indoor and outdoor) for students to adhere to appropriate social distancing and hallway navigation.
- All TMSA students, faculty and staff are required to wear face masks while on campus.
- Desks will be sanitized before and after testing.
- Hand sanitizer stations re located throughout campus and students will be reminded to sanitize their hands as often as possible.
- Disinfectant spray and wipes will be provides for every classroom and testing area on campus.
Students Receiving Face-to-Face Instruction But Not Taking the Milestones Assessments
- Students will be located in a socially distanced non-testing area and monitored by TMSA staff.
- Students will work on class assignments during Milestones testing.
- Students will return to their respective classrooms daily after testing is over.
Students Receiving Virtual Instruction But Not Taking the Milestones Assessments
- Students will work on asynchronous assignments assigned by their teachers during testing (testing schedule).
- Live class instruction will resume after testing sessions (testing schedule).
Students Taking the Milestones Assessments After School Hours
- Students must arrive to TMSA no later than 3:15 p.m.
- Milestones testing will start at 4:00 p.m.
- Pick-up time is at 5:45 p.m.
