Read Across America Day is on Tuesday, March 2, 2021! This day (and month!) is all about celebrating reading and why we love it. This year, TMSA is celebration Read Across America Day with a TikTok contest!
TMSA students in each grade level may create a TikTok video about books and why they love them. The video can be funny, inspirational, meaningful, goofy, or whatever the student wants it to be, just as long as it's about books (no movies or TV shows) and school appropriate! Ideas: show off your book collection; dress up as your favorite book character and do a TikTok dance; share a story about a book meaningful to you; make a time lapse video of you reading with your family, pets, etc. Check out these great examples here:
