Thank Your Legislator for Protecting Charter School Funding

The FY21 state budget has passed the House and Senate and now heads to Governor Kemp for his signature. Because you spoke out, the Charter School Facility Grant will only see a total reduction of $4,000 (under 1%) from the previous fiscal year. That’s amazing considering that just two weeks ago, the grant faced a $2 million (57%) cut from the previous fiscal year. While we know these are very difficulty times in our state and country, we thank you for speaking up on behalf of the thousands of charter school students in Georgia.
