Derrick Jackson, Georgia state representative for House District 64 (TMSA’s district) and El-Mahdi Holly, Georgia state representative for House District 111, visited The Main Street Academy (TMSA), a Fulton County public charter school, on Tuesday, December 17, 2019. Both state representatives toured the school and engaged with scholars...from viewing a classroom rainbow trout farm and a student-built electric racing car to sharing in a presentation outlining a real deer’s heart. Not only did Representative Jackson and Representative Holly take the time to discuss TMSA , education and funding with the school’s administrators, students, teachers, and staff they also took the time to take fun ussies (when more than one person is included in a selfie) with TMSA student ambassadors.
