The Main Street Academy (TMSA) welcomes Ms. Yuvonka Avery as the new Assistant Principal for grades K – 4. A native of Atlanta, GA, Assistant Principal Avery matriculated though Atlanta Public Schools (APS) and obtained both her Bachelor of Science and Master’s in Educational Leadership from the University of West Georgia.
Assistant Principal Avery has served in education for 20 years. Prior to joining TMSA, Assistant Principal Avery was the Administrator of Curriculum at Palmetto Elementary School.
Avery’s hobbies include traveling and reading.
